Did anyonelse pre-order their Limited Ed copy from Playtech?

Do you have the same problem as I have with the game not showing up as "Limited Edition" within the Origin Beta startup?

There has been a few comments about this in the GP forums.

So does the packaging say Limited Edition? I got mine from Mighty Ape (at the Playtech pricing) and it has Limited Edition on the packaging and shows the same in Origin.

Nope on the origin launch gui, it is meant to say BF3 Limited edition.

I've emailed both EA and Playtech about this, and will let y'all know when I have an outcome.

Yep mine does on the packaging, but I've got a feeling they screwed up somewhere and gave some of us standard cd-keys as opposed to the Limited Ed one.

Hope they can fix it their end as opposed to me having to do all the leg work.

Is that the PC pricing?  Think that's the same as Dick Smith too, I want the PS3 version :(
Might just wait a couple of weeks to get it, accidentally spent my money on a trip to Tokyo :(

Heh the $699 flights advertised today. My brother and now a friend have both done that lately and loved it!

I have yet to buy the game but am looking forward to. But I suppose now the launch date has passed, obtaining the Limited Edition is no longer available ?

Of topic a bit but I must say I am outraged at the early leak on to torrent sites, all the effort and skill that went into making this game possible, only to being disrespected by pirates :(

I havent heard back from EA support, no suprises there...  I will hit up their live chat later tonight

I did however get a reply from Playtech support:

"We had a few reports of this issue nationwide not just stock from Playtech buy everyone throughout NZ/AU, once we get more detail on how to resolve this issue from EA, will post up on website and forum for all to see. Sorry about this hassle and thanks for shopping at Playtech"

4 days in and still no word from EA...

Tried their live chat several times, but gave up in the end and I cbf staying up till god knows what time waiting for them to answer.

I am however having a blast with MP, despite my horrific KD ratio :)

Playtech has posted a workaround on their facebook page, but that still requires one to acquire a LE key from EA support.

Thanks to Chen from Playtech for sorting me out with a new key.

I now have the LE edition AND the physical warfare pack.
