Nope - just goes via smtp2go with SPF, DKIM + DMARC. The Spam issue is a thing of the past now.

Apologies for the off-topic question, but are the cloud key UC-CK hardware devices any different functionality-wise? And are the UC-CK's you can buy overseas the same as the ones you can get here (i.e would a US cloud key work with Unifi AP's purchased here, given the different bands available on the versions)

They are no different functionality wise, they're just a small linux device

Doesn't matter which country you purchase it from, there are no restrictions

I've just done a major upgrade on the controller. This upgrade now brings additional stats and an additional permission set meaning I can now give adopt permissions to manage your own pool without needing to PM me (apart from the initial access request).

This should be now rolled out to everyone however if you are trying to adopt a device and don't see it then give me a quick message and I can ensure you've got the correct permissions. This upgrade is technically in "testing" however brings many useful features and I've so-far found it quite stable.

Also, this means all your devices had a major firmware upgrade / reboot. I've confirmed everyone reconnected successfully.

Hi @michaelmurfy has something changed on the controller? I had to reset my AP, and it will not provision all the sudden. When logging into the controller, I'm getting websocket errors as well:

I've tried both firefox and chrome and both are giving the error.

I have the controller set in my ERL, and it was provisioned before, so it should reprovision no problem I would think. I attempted to do it manually as well, and it is not showing up. Any suggestions?

@Taubin I'm not seeing the same issue here. You could try navigating straight to the controller port (https://gzunifi.nlb.nz:8443) to see if that resolves it for you however I must say it seems rather isolated :)

If you've added the UniFi controller IP to your routers DHCP config give the AP a reboot and you should see it pending adoption.

Thanks, going straight to the controller port worked just fine and the controller showed up, must be something strange on my end. I'll see if I can figure out what's changed here. Thanks for the quick reply! Cheers

I'm getting the WebSocket connection error as well. Saw it the other say and thought it was just a one off but going to it now I see it whether it's on the normal SSL port or 8443. Firefox/Mac here. Doesn't seem to have any impact as far as I can see though so maybe no cause for worry?

Hmm it looks like the new version of the UniFi software bought in some additional websockets that are currently not in my nginx configuration. Weird as I have not noticed anything.

I'll investigate this sometime this week - in the meantime just use :8443. It'll still work without websockets however it won't automatically update the page (which is annoying). Thanks for the heads up!

Got a firmware update sitting there to roll out to everyone tonight with fixes from Ubiquiti:

Firmware changes from 3.9.2:

[ACIWPro] Enable DFS support.
[UAP] Add more security details to scan info.
[UAP] Security patch for the WPA2 vulnerability called KRACK (details HERE).*
[UAP] Various backend fixes and/or improvements.
[USXG] Fix fastpath tools.
[HW] Improve error codes returned on firmware upgrade fail.
*This primarily affects devices that support STA mode. It's worth noting that 1st gen AC devices do not support STA mode, which is why we have only released a 3.9.x firmware.

For everyone reading this and on the controller - feel free to hit the upgrade button next to your AP. As for 802.11r I would assume Ubiquiti have taken steps to help mitigate an attack.

Hiya, I'm trying to adopt a new AP into my network but it doesn't seem to show up even after using set-inform via SSH and also using the iPhone management app. Do I still need to provide you with the AP's MAC?

@KiwiSurfer it is adopted now :)

For anyone else just let me know if you've got new devices and I can give you access to adopt for a short time. I had it for the whole controller but more just want to control who has this so the wrong devices don't get adopted to a user.
