Greetings,

I am on Telecom VDSL2 with a Technicolor TG589vn V2 modem in BRIDGE mode to a 5th Gen Airport Extreme as LAN/WLAN over using PPPoE.

Question is: Is there a way for the Airport Extreme's LAN to use the remaining 3 wired LAN ports on the Technicolor modem? Apple onle gives you 3 wired LAN ports on the Airport Extreme and I need more wired ports. I don't want to add another switch if I don't have to.

example:  PC ---(wired LAN cable)---> Technicolor LAN port ---> Airport Extreme LAN port ---> Internet(PPPoE through Technicolor)

If this isn't possible, can anyone suggest a replacement VDSL modem/router with this capability?

Cheers

No, because the TG589 ports are on the WAN (Telecom) side of the network, not LAN side of the network after NAT has occurred.

You're not going to find any device that allows you do this without creating a complex setup such as VLANing the ports off and then using a patch cable from the Airport back to the modem which is going to use up two of your ports.

The solution is to spend $15 on a switch, or $20 if you need Gigabit.
