Hi folks, i've seen a few posts about this (all locked now) but can't seem to solve mine.

Trying to port forward for Plex Media Server and not having any luck.

Have set the IP on the server to 192.168.1.10 (static)

Gone into the Port Mapping section in the router interface and set it up as instructed

Protocol TCP/UDP (have tried all options)
Ext start port 32400
Ext end port 32400
Internal host 192.168.1.10
Internal port 32400

Have tried a different port as well. Also tried putting in my external IP address into remote host (not on a static WAN IP though so this would change eventually)

canyouseeme.org tells me it can't, connection timed out no matter what I do.

Have disabled AV software with no joy.

Any ideas?

xontech: I believe I have the same problem with my HG630b.

To me it appears it won't forward on incoming ports higher than 1024.

If you can, try a source port less than 1024, you can probably leave the destination port the same. That worked for me.

Just to clarify, it worked for me in regards to port forwarding, it was done for purposes other than for Plex. (edited to add this)

You sir are a gentleman and a scholar! Changed the port to a sub 1024 value and it worked a charm, thank you very muchly!!
