hello, I have a ipaq 3970 (pocket pc 2002) and motorola v515. I have turned on bluetooth on both devices. The devices have bonded and can communicate via bluetooth. However, when creating a new connection on the ipaq for bluetooth dial-up, I need a number or string to tell the v515 to use WAP to access the web. I have cingular service with the data package. the cingular tech support is not much help. BTW i have found the menu on the v515 that spells out many network settings, ip, dns servers, user name, passwords, ect.
I may just need a ten digit dial up number, but i would think that the ipaq's Internet Explorer would just emulate the v515's WAP via bluetooth. many thanks, michael
