Hey,

Im a complete n00b so sorry if I ask stupid questions. :P

A friend of mine only installed her drivers after she had booted up with the bluetooth dongle in the machine, so theyre all wacked.

I told her to uninstall the driver through device manager, then remove the device, then, reboot. After that, install the software and drivers first, then when the software say... plug it in.

Now when the USB blue tooth dongle is not plugged in, i cannot see the device in device manager, so i cant uninstall the drivers. When its plugged in, i can disable the device but cant uninstall it.

Thats kinda where i get to.. when i try uninstall, I get:

Welcome to Geekzone...

I wouldn't worry about the drivers - but you can uninstall the Bluesoleil software from the Control Panel Add/Remove feature. Then reboot the PC, and reinstall the software. Plug the adapter and after that simply change the drivers through Device Manager - if possible.

Have a look on this thread for instructions on how to change the drivers (the instructions are for Widcomm, but you should see the Bluesoleil drivers listed on your friend's PC).
