Welcome to Geekzone...

There are two ways of doing it: via ActiveSync or via LAN. The first is the easy way: simply establish an ActiveSync connection over Bluetooth and that's all you need.

The second way is explained here and it will work if your device uses a Widcomm based Bluetooth software. BlueSoleil based device have their own settings, and the Microsoft Bluetooth software does not allow this at all.

Yes, it happens: Widcomm, Toshiba, BlueSoleil, Microsoft, Dell and a few others...

But the idea is the same. If it supports Serial (all do) or LAP then you should check the article to see what's been done, and do the appropriate configuration on your laptop.

Once the PC configuration is done, on the Pocket PC side is all the same.

The adapter receiving the ICS (the Bluetooth virtual adapter) must be 192.168.0.1. If this address is already in use on a network it will not be possible to configure ICS without changing the network configuration (router, modem, PCs, laptops).

Serial ports don't have to match. On your PC you just have to make sure ActiveSync is configured to listen on the Inbound/Incoming/Server port (the naming will vary) defined on Bluetooth.

On your Pocket PC the ActiveSync Bluetoothn configuration will be like this (discard the part about the PC configuration, which is in the first paragraph of this reply).
