I want to get the dimmers too, any indication on when the certificate is due for them?
I have asked on the Shelly Facebook support page. Dimitar seems really active in the group so hopefully there will be some news at some stage.
Cheers, Matt
My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.
This NZ website suggests that lots of Shelly products are certified for NZ use, including the dimmer:

Is this legit??

I think their interpretation of the MRU is wrong. The MRU allows testing for NZ products to be completed in the EU. They still have to be performed by an accredited lab and be tests to the relevant NZAS.
https://worksafe.govt.nz/topic-and-industry/electricity/appliances-and-fittings/core-requirements/international-electrical-mras/
They establish that products that are tested or certified to meet the requirements of the destination market can be assessed in the market of manufacture.
Edit: Unless they can provide a SoC or CoS with testing to the relevant NZAS I wouldn't trust it.
hairy1: That MRA refers to low voltage devices so I wouldn't take that MRA as a legal avenue for installing the Shellies.
In the standards low voltage covers 230v AC. What is colloquially called low voltage is refereed to as extra low voltage in the standards.

Interested to see how the RGB strip controller goes. Hopefully Shelly has some pre-built stuff in it for colours/patterns?
scottjpalmer: What does one call this? A gaggle of Shellies?

Not home to setup until next week.

I got a couple of Shelly PM1s installed this week too and certified by an electrician, they work great. I have them linked in with home assistant with MQTT but the Shelly app seams OK for someone not wanting to get too advanced. One thing I did find is that the get quite hot. The internal temp sensor is reading ~75oC when my hot water cylinder is pulling 3kW.

I thought most of these types of things were rated to 2kW only?

They're rated to 3.5kW, max 16A/240V.
Yep specifically the PM1 has this rating, most of the others have a 10A rating and the dimmers only have 1A I think. As always though check what is specified on the device / compliance certificate.
MrAmerica: I have a bunch of Shelly devices to add to my bunch of many other devices. I have tended to use the apps per manufacturer in the past with a bit of IFTTT and Google Home/Assistant thrown in to make sure everything is as messy as possible.
I think its time to look at a dedicated home automation solution and have seen somewhere one that uses a nice UI to program things up a bit like IFTTT on meth.
Can someone point me in the right direction? I have done a bit textual type programming back when stubbies with walk socks were a thing. Not keen to re learn that if possible.
I did actually download the thing I am thinking of a few years ago but beer and head high tackles in my youth mean the old memory aint so so flash these days.
Whole new thread right here. You'd be better to start a decdicated thread. There's a number of different approaches used in this community - from bought controllers (ie vera), or self implemented Home Assistant, Openhab or Homebridge installations and probably some roll your own.
