Nah, I bought mine through 2degrees on the 3-year repayment plan. I would've thought an initial batch were already in-country. It'd be pandemonium to try shipping the entire preorder bunch direct from China on launch day.

I was always under the impression that the first lot always came in via Sydney at launch, then we started getting them directly from China. TBH though, it's been a few years since I ordered at launch.

The carriers will have stock in Warehouse ready to dispatch

If you ordered directly from Apple, it will leave Sydney tomorrow afternoon/evening.

You'll get an email with "Your order has shipped" any time between 4–9pm tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon/evening, by which time your phone will most likely already be on a DHL plane bound for Auckland.

So, don't panic until after 9pm tomorrow.

My Pro Max Titanium 512 is still stuck as "processing" on the Apple website with an anticipated delivery date of 26th/28th September.

Assume mine won't be shipping until early next week though I am expecting it may well slip further given the demand and the fact that current new orders are slated for November!

Do you live in a rural location by chance? I have seen a few people online saying that the extra delay for rural deliveries could be (or is) already factored into the estimation.

Based on my experience with the 13 and 14 iPhones from 2D I would take their ETA with fistful's of salt.

They didn't dynamically update the dates on their website during the initial order/release period and were off by 8 weeks plus compared to reality...
