Smartphone, UStream App, solid Wifi (or 3G (parenthesinception(or 4G?!?!))) connection... make it so!! :)

jtbthatsme: For those that have talked about it what's so great about the Ascend??? Those specs are only marginally better than some of the other top model phones on the market....

Sad when dual-core isn't "great".
Dual core, 8MPixel camera, SAMOLED -- which is by far the best screen technology and generally only on Samsungs.

Oh, and its just gone on sale last week in China for 3000 yuan = $570 NZD, so can probably expect 2d to sell it for $650-750 my guess.

For comparison the HTC One X is $999 which for the extra $ you get quad-core, built in flash (Ascend P1 needs a microSD card, oneX has no microSD at all), OneX is non-stock ICS which is a negative IMHO. Stock ICS is very good i've been using it on my GalaxyS (mod).

Not sure about exact numbers of sales, but a lot of the Blackberries were NFC enabled, and a lot of govts here use them still. We still purchase Blackberries unfortunately.

Prob have to ask Vodafone/telecom/2degrees/TelstraClear how many NFC phones have been sold so far but available from Carriers

It's a emerging technology. It just needs good partnerships, and a strong marketing drive

As for NFC enabled Sim cards, quite possibly.

NFC batteries were included on the Galaxy Nexus, so they could possibly enable other devices(Galaxy S II) which have the circuitry for NFC, to be used with a replacement NFC battery, and sim
