I recently had ufb installed and was wondering does the modem automatically update settings ? the modem is Netcomm NF4V the modem was sent out for Vdsl then the upgrade happened shortly after that the installer only turned it off and on and it worked (he told me they only deal with the inside optical box no further ) why i ask is because the Vdsl light still flashes like it searching connection. and being an avid gamer i was mostly disappointed to see my latency only drop from 20ms (copper) to 18-19ms fibre orcon speed test.
