im on orcon adsl2+ silver plan. before jan this yeat, i was getting 16-18Mb/s sync speed and a couple of dropouts per week and everything has been fast and stable for 2 yeats. I heared cabinets are intalled in forrest hill in the beginning of this year. first i started getting about 200 dropouts each day. then called orcon and they turned the interleaving on on my profile and this helped the number of dropouts reduced to 20-30. but still unacceptable. finally i called again and they said to change me to a safer profile. now im getting DL 7-8Mb/s sync and UL600-700kb/s but still on adsl2+ profile. i had 2 dropouts yesterday but the performance(slow, stable will see?, interleaving on) is a lots worse than before(fast and stable and interleaving off). my qustion is whether i should switch to telecom to get back to my old days?
