I, too, just installed a DishTV T2200, replacing the T1050 that fried its guts. There are certainly quite a few changes.

One oddity I noticed this morning was that the 3 Shopping channels and Parliament are blocked from recording, in both the normal EPG and the version buried in the Menu.

One suggestion is that the content is so ghastly, it's needed to protect the hard drive, but if that was true, attempts to record Bravo would certainly cause an HD melt-down. Electrons can cope with being irritated but the end-to-end Kardashians would be regarded as cruel and unusual punishment.

Any other explanations?

Oh no! After saying mine is almost trouble-free, I discovered that I seem to have lost Prime. The message says to check my aerial but I can get it on my tv, and as the aerial goes to the T2200, then the TV, it can't actually be an aerial problem. No recording the Olympics for me! Anyone else having trouble getting Prime consistently?

Found a bug in V1.30

With LCN = OFF in Admin settings...

In the channel organizer, if you move a channel down the list it moves as expected. If you move a channel up the list, it moves one extra place.

Thanks for that, we have identified this fault and are now working on getting this fixed, please continue to send through valid issues through :-)

Hi Tania,

I had that same thing happen just when the Chiefs were playing the Hurricanes last week.  No PRIME or MAORI TV, just "Check the aerial" message.

I had a splitter (no power pass on either leg), just before the T2200, one leg to the TV and one to the T2200.

I found I could not get this working properly as it had been for the past 10 months.

In the end I took off the splitter and went straight to the T2200, with just the HDMI out to the TV connected.

I rescanned the T2200 and everything came back again.

Cheers

Bernard

Thanks Bernard, after reading yr post, I physically looked and it turns out that I have an aerial splitter too! Seems this could be my problem. The trouble is I cant just remove the splitter as the connection is a screw on. I'll see if I can get an adapter today, hopefully that wont ruin the signal again. Thanks!

Have you tried replacing the physical connecting aerial cables?  Digital transmission can be a little temperamental if you're using older aerial cables to connect your set top box.

A few years ago my TiVo packed a bit of a sad and the signal would regularly cut out or have the picture break up with the diagnostics reporting a marginal to low signal strength at varying times of the day.  I had swapped everything out including the splitter - everything that is except the one fly lead to the TiVo.  Replaced that cable and it has been 100% since with a constant strong signal strength.  The old cable didn't appear to have anything physically wrong with it but sometimes due to atmospheric conditions etc... it can tip digital signals over the edge.

Omg! What a time I've had. What should've taken 5 minutes I've spent over an hour on. Was on the verge of tears. I got the part, removed the splitter and put it in - then only got 5 channels in the scan! Just TVNZ. Took it apart, tried again got 18, should be 27 + 2 radio. No Prime. Put it all back with splitter again, thinking "this part is crap, I was better off before", back to 5. And so on and so on. Changed and swapped cables etc and discovered in all this that the aerial cable that comes in through the wall is VERY sensitive. I'd get it going, push the tv back to the wall and it was gone again! I could actually feel something in the end of the cable too, a warmth, a buzz? I'm not sure what it was, but I was worried I'd be the first person ever to die from a digital signal! Would all my programs flash before my eyes in my last few moments? Maybe a rather fitting way for me to go? Anyway, I persevered, and all is working and back in place. I just have to keep my fingers crossed and not breath too hard. If I have trouble again, I think I'll have to get a professional in to maybe do something with the actual aerial cable that goes from outside to inside. Thanks guys for all your help and advice!

Rewind/play/rewind is not working for me :( + as well as only rewinding at the 2x rate despite showing 32x, it is now freezing during this slow rewind, so frustrating!!!!!!

Another problem when in the library in "series view" not everything that I've recorded is showing, ie. only 3 episodes of a programme showing as recorded but when I switch back to "episode view" and scroll down, there is the missing recorded programme.

Come on Dish TV, please sort these issues out!!

No response from Dish TV for my previous post up there ^^^^^ posted a couple of weeks ago....

PLUS.... yet another issue in "Series View" when I click on a programme I get a notification "No audio video records" whatever that means, then I have to wait for that notification to disappear, then when I click on the programme again, it works as it should!!

the ffwd rwd issue has been logged and taken aboard, i highly recommend looking back a few pages at my post showing the email address to send issues to .  fairly quick responses and bugs seem to be fixed by next update.

i am wondering if you have legacy issues with the recorded list though and you simply need to watch the recordings to remove the glitches for good now ?
