Friend of mine has just bought one of these things, could not get it going.
Went around there to help him set it up. Plugged UHF aerial in, HDMI to TV, powered it up, welcome screen showed, then a screen saying wait a few minutes while Igloo setup process runs.
Screen went blank, still like that an hour later.
How long should it take, and shouldn't there be some sort of progress indicator. Or a message advising no signal if that is the case (unlikely as a previous Freeview unit worked there)
Tried power reset, went through same cycle.
Does not react to any buttons on remote or on front of box, unit frozen, maybe it is faulty out of the box?
Their help line was shut - at peak viewing time!
Friend wants to take the thing back and get his money back, and quite honestly at this point in time I cannot think of a better idea either
