99altezza:
theUpload: Dick Smith has the HTC One for Telecom for $999

Stock arrives in the country 7th of may

Their won't be many at all.

We know Noel Leeming can pre-order too, as prices are $999, no deals at the mo. so no point to pre-order yet as it won't arrive till 7th May... Unless they don't have enough phones just for the pre-orders...

Wish they had a 10% discount or something, $999 is just a lil too expensive altho it's quite standard for top range smart phones..

If thats for the model with 16GB memory then its pretty bad :/

Thank god for that then. Pity about the delays, probably means it will get slaughtered by Samsung in terms of market share.

The thing I am liking the most about it so far is the screen. This is by far the best screen on any device I have had. I had it next to a HTC one x, which has a great screen, and this one does make it look bad. Rip 720p, you sure were short lived!

There is also no lag anywhere, on anything. This is the best android experience I've had. (to qualify, I've had a galaxy s2, s3, HTC desire hd, one x and now this)

Blink feeds a bit of a waste of time, flipboard is much better.

The camera is fine. It's better than they say it is but it's still a phone camera. I haven't taken a blurry shot yet, the ois seems to do it's job.

The look and feel of it is expensive. The 999 price point is not undeserved, as it's cheaper than a 16gb iPhone, as well made, and has a more interesting operating system. It also has a better screen, a faster processor, and 32gb.

One other thing is now Google music is available here, a big hole has been filled between ois and android. It works great and unlike iTunes match it's free.

I'll whack some battery stats up later on once the battery settles, but today it went 11 hours with over 3.5 hours screen time. I get a lot of emails too which I think takes it's toll on the battery normally.

I'm sounding a bit like a fandroid but this is a stunning phone and HTC really deserve to succeed with this.

The ois works great. One of the issues I had with my last phone is you always got the blurry when you hit the button but no issues here.

Definitely not as detailed as 13 or 8 megapixel cameras, but good enough considering the quality you would get under low light situations.
It's all about compromise I guess.
It's going to be a tough choice between s4 and one.

Thanks for the pictures f355b

So do you feel its better than the camera in your old One X ?

Interested in your opinion even though the camera (or more so the megapixel count) isn't really an issue for me. I always felt if I really needed the quality of a 13MP picture, I wouldn't be using a phone lol
With my phone I only have it set at 2.4 megapixels for sharing photos with friends and family.

Yeah loving the photos and thoughts

Yet again the Megapixels will hurt if people want to crop, but the colours and the low light performance are right up my alley

May 7th cannot come quick enough I am just happy my Galaxy 1 is still ticking to keep me going
