sm250:heavenlywild:sm250:heavenlywild: Is the $200 off with 2Degrees the same deal as other years where you can cancel straight away and keep the discount?
Pbtech's Website says "phone balance repayable if you end your eligible plan". So I think not.
Stefan
Well of course the phone balance needs to be paid off but if it is like previous offers you still get to keep the $200 phone discount.Fair Point. I'll need to check the terms and conditions futher because it would be a good opportunity for me to change to 2°.

That's a nice way of saying: Can I con a retailer by signing up to an term commitment I have no intention of honoring and still pocket the savings?
Customers like you, retailers don't need.

NikT:insane:Does anyone know if there's going to be a Galaxy S20e variant? As much as I'd like to upgrade my aging and somewhat dying Galaxy S7, my employer will never fork out $1500 on a phone, nor should they.
Nope :(
The very-nearly-here Galaxy A71 might be worth a squiz though.
How much of Samsung’s production is sourced from China?
I’m wondering if there might be an ongoing shortage after the initial launch batch of the S20 if the anti-virus shutdown affects parts/production.

I think historically their flagships are assembled in Vietnam but not sure about where their parts come from, likely from China.

IronH: I put my pre-order in for the PBTech Sennheiser bundle. Will likely flip the sennheisers as already have to many headphones - a number of which came from other pre-order deals - Bose headphones with mate 20, JBL headphones with P30, galaxy buds with S10 etc
Yes I know what you mean, they really need to mix these bundles up a bit and offer different stuff...PB Tech have a really good offer for a free electric Scooter with the Note 10+ currently, as well as a free fitness watch with others...its a shame these aren't bundled instead of the usual wireless headphones/bluetooth speaker.

Hahaha good on ya, always wonder if folks are amassing a solid collection of bundle bonuses. Did once hear of a chap who ended up with 3x first-gen PXC 550.
It's a lot of fun building them and we try to shake it up with a variety rather than same-old-same-old. My favourite to date is still the Executive Bundle with the Galaxy Note8, buy a phone, get a chair, although LG V30+ with Sennheiser HD 599 and Mate 20 Pro with Bose QC35-II were up there too.
The constructs, logistics, and politics for these offers are complex and delicate. It has changed the market a lot in the past few years, and I often think of folks in small towns who might only have a Spark store or similar and will get phones with bonus TV offers etc. that wouldn't have happened if the market hadn't become so competitive.
This year it's a very recently released set of high-end headphones and a very large Bluetooth speaker (with built-in powerbank and bottle opener of all things), plus a high-end router, against last year's S10 Arlo/headphones/speaker+charger sets. Compares fairly favourably to my mind, but good to know scooters and wearables are of interest.

Wonder if its still possible to immediately cancel the 2degrees and pay the phone back whilist keeping the $200 discount credit. I did it last year at Noel Leemings with the P30 Pro and I'm interested in S20 but I need Spark coverage.

One of my friend did this for his Iphone XS. According to him, It is mandatory to keep the 2D package for at-least 3 months to avail the 200$ discount.
