Hi

 

Having some difficulty extracting a straight answer out of Noel Leemings as to where my replacement is at. First they say contact Samsung who will let you know, Samsung say contact Noel Leemings

 

Finally got hold of someone at Noel Leemings after being on that merry go round for a while who stated they just dont know and maybe by end of next week. Happy that they can see I am getting a replacement but not that happy that no one knows when.

 

Anyone else waiting for a replacement from a non -telco and having trouble

I went to the Spark store where I dropped off my phone the day after the recall only to be told they don't have a phone for me because they are saving them for their own customers and didn't know when they would have more stock. Pretty hacked off really I wouldn't of bothered waiting three weeks if I knew this and would of kept the phone until they definitely had stock. Unfortunately if you purchased online direct from Spark it appears you are a second class citizen as far as the Spark stores are concerned.

I also got told I had to hand in the micro SD when I returned the phone, it appears that wasn't true either as the new ones don't come with an SD, you have to get hold of Spark again and they will post one out.

I wonder if Samsung will offer the card (or the VR headset I think some channels offered) to new purchasers to encourage new sales?

The spark facebook page is saying the don't come with the SD and you have to contact them to get one posted?

I suspect you will see some interesting market incentives. Samsung have thrown so much in to the Galaxy 7 range this year, and, having set the bar way ahead of anything else currently available at this smart phone level, there is way too much at stake NOT to do anything.

The original Note7 was purchased via the Samsung website, the "yours to keep" J5 was received 2 weeks ago, with a pre-piad courier bag for the returnable Note7

 

Returned the original Note7 back to Samsung (hanset only) ,kept the original charger and headphone for the Note7

 

 

 

Just received the replacement Note7 :)

No contact was made by Samsung since sending back the original N7, the replacemnt just turned up today with the Courier

 

The replacement came in the black Note7 box, i'm guessing it has a charger and headphone inside (i won't know till i get home ,it my wife's phone)
