M_I_C_H_A_E_L: Oh I have a question for Linuxluver and the other lucky two who got this phone.. Is HTC Watch on the phone? Does it work here in NZ?

Thanks

The HTC Watch app is installed but I can't tell you yet if the service is up and running. Linuxluver will be able to answer that I think.

Galaxy S has gone to its new owner. HTC Sensation has gone to its new
owner. Galaxy S3 has gone to its new owner. Now using Galaxy Note 3. Skipping Note 4 I think...

I'm watching the "Eat Pray Love" trailer via HTC Watch.....so that means it works? It notified me it was downloading a license agreement, then presented an iTunes-like horizontal scrolling set of slides, each with an image on it I can touch to select it.

Question: Anyone know if Sense / HTC provide a way to take screen shots (without rooting the phone) like you can with a Samsung Galaxy S?

Correct. We three have received "early look" phones. Same software as will be released, though.

WiFi sensitivity
Side by side with my SGS, the HTC Sensation is consistently -5dB higher in WifiAnalyzer.

Eye Candy
The homescreen animations are very cool. I'll probably learn to ignore them but for now, wow!

Call clarity comparing the Sensation and SGS
It's a wash - they're both outstanding using the handset normally.
(I'll update this item once I've tried the speakerphone setups and the hands-free headsets.)

Video on 3G/H
Watched Sebastien Loeb in the Super Stage of the Greek WRC round - no stutters, no dropped frames.
(I'll update this when I've tried HD video)

(Note that I'll add things to this post as they hit me rather than add a squazillion posts, unless there's a good reason to begin another.)

I think it would if I had any. It looked for movies on startup. I haven't made any videos yet.

Allows you to connect your phone to your TV via an HDMI connection, allowing you to play HD content on your TV via your phone.

Is there an HTC or Android version app of Apple's "Find my iPhone" app, which tracks your phone if it gets lost or stolen? One that will work in NZ?

This is definitely something I'd want to have!

There is a setting for that in Menu -> Settings -> Location below the GPS on/off setting: "Phone finder"
