Sadly a very common Pixel XL issue, bad solder joint on the mic. Return for a replacement.

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.

Yea, I'm keeping my Nexus 6 close at hand in case something happens with my Pixel.

Because the repair time will be painful I'm sure. Touch wood I don't need it, and here's hoping yours is repaired/replaced quickly.

Plus i did not get a courtesy phone coz i did not had pbtech care or something..

But i have my old samsung , which uses bigger sim, so i will have to buy bigger one for now, and when my pixel returns, i will have to get mini sim again...

Cant we have both sim at a time so something (but only 1 in use) ?

You can't have 2 SIMs, no.

Just buy a SIM Adapter Kit, don't piss around getting different SIMs.

Don't expect fast turnarounds or stellar customer care when dealing with PBTech. They're usually the cheapest for a reason.

Yes, you've got a substantial failure on the product, and have provided the store an opportunity to remedy it, which they failed.

You now have recourse for either a replacement, or a refund.

If they deny (and I've heard PBtech can be difficult) then you have several options - CAB,and MBIE.

oh thanks !!!

just had a call from pbtech, they said i will have to give my phone to check and then they will see what needs to be done.

I told them, that i already went through this process..

he then said, he still needs to see about the problem and then will finalize the next step ,

Hey mate,

Drop a line through to the team at customer.service@pbtech.co.nz with the details - they're across this thread and keeping an eye out for your email. They'll sort you out.
