Can anyone help me with connecting a Sony DVD to a Sony bravia with freeview as i can't get a clear picture through the recorder anymore. The only connection i have at the moment is a hdmi cable and the tv aerial.
Is it possible to record to the dvd through the freview on the tv?

The simple answer is no. AFAIK, all the new TV's with built-in Freeview provide no output feature, you can only watch Freeview live on the TV. If you want to record I would suggest looking at the new Zinwell 250GB Freeview HD recorder, I have seen it for around a grand.

On another note this is the wrong forum for this question but I am sure a mod will move it soon enough.
