I'm not sure any food is inherently bad. There are foods you should eat only very occasionally and food you should eat often.
This is common sense (or should be). Ditto the need to exercise.
Brussel Sprouts and Broccoli are bad
LOL, love 'em both, but accept that I am abnormal in this regard. It's clearly not an inherited condition as if I try to get the kids to eat Brussel Sprouts they act as if I'm trying to make them eat cotton balls dipped in sulfuric acid.
I took my then 3 year old son to a food festival. Told him he could have whatever he wanted to eat. We went to an area with Chinese food, an icecream truck, weiner truck, and a waffle truck. His choice? Chinese, "lots of bwoccoli pwease". The sound of 100 jaws hitting the ground around me, and positive comments were excellent.
My wife doesn't love Brussel Sprouts but the rest of us either don't mind them or LOVE them (me). Boiling the snot out of anything makes it taste disgusting in my experience. Lightly cooking till still bright green, slicing in half with some garlic, feta, toasted almonds and freshly fried bacon is a great way to eat them. Or Lightly boiled until barely tender (still bright green) with some browned butter is also delicious. Thinly sliced as salad greens.
Brocolli is nice lightly steamed, or made into soup with Blue Cheese!
I am yet to find something other than olives that I can't turn into a dish that someone who doesn't like it, won't mind it. Fish is an excellent example. So many people don't like fish, but have never had it cooked well (barely) and super fresh (the only way I eat it).
Allergies excluded.
