Geektastic:
I watched Highway Patrol earlier tonight and they pinched two car loads of absolute morons with a collective IQ of less than a whole number for racing at 148kmh on the public highway - and the drivers had the temerity to lose their tempers because their licences were suspended on the spot.

MikeB4:frankv:MikeB4:frankv:timmmay: "Hey, we're going to enforce the speed limit". Seems reasonable.
Assuming of course that the speed limit is set at a reasonable value.
That is irrelevant, the legal maximum is 100KM/H
So you support the idea of enforcing unreasonable laws?
I comply with the law

I bet you break the law *every* time you drive.
For example, the law requires that, before driving, you to ensure that your car meets WoF requirements. What *do* you do to ensure your car is safe?

1 buy new cars and sell while still in warranty
2 have them serviced on a regular basis
3 check the vehicle weekly
4 visual check daily
nzkiwiman: For anyone who has Mazda 3 GLX (with a type B speedo, not the type C found in SP25's), you will know how close together the markings on the speedo are, and also how wide the needle is
This morning I had cruise set at 104km/h and at a casual glace, there is almost zero difference in the position of the speedo needle between doing 100km and 110km.
Which is another reason I wish I had paid more and got a SP25 with a digital speedo reading

So in fact you don't comply with this law, because (e.g.) one of your numberplate lights might have failed and you wouldn't know for up to a week, or perhaps even a year. Q.E.D.

gzt: They would just speed up to 120. Horsefloats, boat trailers, you name it.
