quickymart:

I think if that was the case they would have stumped up the cash already before it got to this stage, yet (so far) no one is putting up their hand to help him.

Yeh I agree, well normally I would for sure, but this is not normal. Its like something out of the original twilight zone :-).

He has that Donor group helping with his legal fees, I have no idea how much that has raised.

I think the very last thing he would use as security is Trump towers, ego n all.

But I just see how many people in the world who want to see him president for many reasons, totally not aligned with conservative values.

I could be wrong. It is looming....

Many years ago American industrialist John Paul Getty: “The casino owner gambles but he has the odds in his favor, so that’s intelligent gambling.”

That's why Trump bankrupted his casinos. He's too stupid to realize he's a buffoon.

From his dim-witted boar:
  • Money: "I understand money better than anybody"

  • Debt: "I’m the king of debt. I’m great with debt. Nobody knows debt better than me"

  • Infrastructure: "Nobody in the history of this country has ever known so much about infrastructure as Donald Trump."

  • Courts: "I know more about courts than any human being on Earth."

  • Lawsuits: "Who knows more about lawsuits than I do? I'm the king."

  • Renewable energy: "I know more about renewables than any human being on Earth."

  • Coronavirus medical advice: "Maybe I have a natural ability".

  • Campaign finance: "I think nobody knows more about campaign finance than I do, because I'm the biggest contributor."

  • Technology: "Technology — nobody knows more about technology than me."

  • Drone: "Having a drone fly overhead — and I think nobody knows much more about technology, this type of technology certainly, than I do."

The Washington Post: Trump’s vague peace plan casts a shadow over Ukraine

Donald Trump holds no elected office, but the Republican presidential candidate’s vague Ukraine policy is already being felt in that country. Allies of the former president, who faces numerous legal challenges amid his campaign to return to the White House, have blocked aid to Ukraine in Congress for months, leading to profound shortages on the battlefield.

There are some signs that that impasse could end soon. However, what happens next if Trump returns to the White House is unclear. The candidate has only offered a hazy outline of how he would handle the war in Ukraine, suggesting he would push both Russia and Ukraine to negotiate and claiming he could reach a deal to end the war in “one day.” His answers on key areas, like whether Russia could keep the territory it has seized, remain unknown — leading to pushback from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who last year called on him to release his plan and “not waste time.”

Colbert on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert

"One thing that might affect the ex-president's campaign is being the target of, and I'm rounding down here, a quintillion court cases.

One of those is the Manhattan District Attorney's case involving the $130,000 hush money payment the former president made to Stormy Daniels, which may have been an illegal campaign contribution.

And now, prosecutors are signaling that criminal charges for the former president are likely.

Okay, I've been hurt before, but I'll take reports of "charges likely" is much better than what I usually read. "Justice hazy, Try again later."

The ex-president maintains his innocence in the hush money scheme, and like all the most innocent people, he won't testify.

So he's keeping quiet. Wait a second, did he pay himself $130,000?"

Is this another case of yet another lie? The orange buffoon often talks the talk, but doesn't often walk the walk.

Of course if it comes time for the court to collect, well, that would reveal everything, wouldn't it? Who is (or was) telling the truth, him or his lawyers?

Yep, is really my only interest in him as I follow the UA situation a couple of hours a day (podcasts and such). The discharge petition has already begun to remove Spkr Johnson) Do some quick profiling on Johnson and you will see the types voting for Trump.

Either way working together which by and large has worked since Reagan seems to be another casualty of Trump games, if not an impact on the entire worldwide Democracy (I wonder who benefits...). Biden tried to include a border policy bill that the Repubs asked for, which Trump didnt want to have passed (supposedly).

What is occurring in UA is the result of these political games. Not only that but a vote for Trump could be one for isolating the US from its allies.

Luckily Biden has a small emergency fund and Europe has been jolted into action, supplying 155s being the first objective and then ramping up war time economics.

anyway, keeping this on topic (the two are very much linked however), the legal proceedings would avoid any concessions by UA that Trump may try to enforce (hopefully Europe has implemented something like the Estonian strategy policy by then).

So a LOT hangs on these court cases, but hopefully the disgust from within his party will be enough for it to not be the only way for troubling international times ahead.

The was the main reason I asked if any of the federal charges will stick. On another note, to have a judge precede over such an important case, that the defendant put in their role as Fed Judge, and to then have it delayed over and over, seems absurd there is no conflict of interest in their system.

RawStory - 'One of them is lying': Experts warn Trump his $500M claim directly contradicts lawyers

22 March 2024

In a post to Truth Social this Friday morning, Donald Trump claimed that he has "almost" $500 million in cash - a claim that contradicts his lawyers who said earlier this week that complying with the $464 million judgment against him in New York Attorney General Letitia James' civil fraud case against him would cause "irreparable harm."

If it was "communism in America" he would be in an internment camp somewhere in Alaska. Or Guantanamo Bay.

The guy is an idiot. And idiots follow him.

The Phantom of the Trump

all so theatrical. I did say he would pay it just before times up and I did hint at his allies within or on mars, but that RNC could be paying the interest for his theatricals? Is there any way to know how much has been donated via that fund?

I just wish there had been stipulations on having to come up with the money himself from his own assets and proof of such.

Nothing screams "billionaire with lots of cash" like being unable to get a bond (effectively a loan), and begging for cash.

Funny how she completely changes her tune the second she realises she doesn't need to kowtow to the orange buffoon anymore! 🙄
