This Canadian company is letting you plan ahead - 4 years worth of beer! They're assuming you're going to want at least one every day, and given how unstable the orange buffoon has proved so far, I think that's a fair call 🍺

Nothing against Canadian beer, but you can drink one with a shelf life of 4 years yourself. Hello preservatives! 😁

Sigh. Didn't the orange buffoon used to bang on about Obama playing golf - in his view - all the time instead of working? Okay, I know Obama played golf, but I also remember him doing a lot of work as president as well, and definitely not golfing almost every weekend πŸ™„

In Trump's case it's a security measure, it'll be hard for another nutcase to try and shoot him because you never know which golf course he's on.

What do you want, we live in an age of decadence and I don't want to give up my Sunday 10km walk at 8.00am either, which starts with a fine coffee in a nearby bistro. After all, it cost the public billions of euros to set up an entire city with all the extras around me so that I can enjoy the scenery. And if I commit any offences, the police will take care of me at any time. They are there much quicker than with any other citizen who really needs help. All this just for me. 😈

If the host increasingly gives populists a stage and jeopardises democracy, you should leave his party.

The King of Tariffs

'Everything Trump touches, dies' ...

Reuters - US stock market loses $4 trillion in value as Trump plows ahead on tariffs

breaking

NEW YORK, March 10 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump’s tariffs have spooked investors, with fears of an economic downturn driving a stock market sell-off that has wiped out $4 trillion from the S&P 500’s peak last month, when Wall Street was cheering much of Trump's agenda.

  •     S&P 500 down over 8% from Feb 19 all-time high
  •     Nasdaq confirmed 10% correction from its Dec peak last week
  •     Tesla loses more than $125 bln in value in one day

No shortage of stories about the market losses. Even websites that are not overly interested in politics.

Just How Bad is the Stock Market's Current Sell-Off?: Investopedia

...
U.S. stocks had their worst day of an already bad year on Monday as investors raced into safe-haven assets amid growing recession fears.

The S&P 500 fell 2.7% on Monday, its biggest one-day drop since December.
...
The last six days have been particularly punishing. The S&P 500 fell nearly 1.8% last Monday when President Trump confirmed a 25% tariff on Canadian and Mexican imports would go into effect the following day. In the five days since, stocks have fallen another 4% despite Trump again partially delaying those tariffs.

Nasdaq records worst day since 2020, Dow falls 890 points, S&P 500 tumbles after Trump doesn’t rule out a recession: MarketWatch

U.S. stocks ended sharply lower on Monday as investors reacted to recession fears and tariff concerns.

President Donald Trump refused to rule out the possibility of a recession in a television interview on Sunday, while Chinese tariffs on U.S. agricultural goods took effect on Monday in response to U.S. tariffs on Chinese imports that were imposed last week

"Stuart Varney: Stock market's 'uncertainty' selloff could become another Trump rally".

Very likely. Few of Trump's supporters have the wit, intelligence or means to dabble in stocks, so they'll welcome this additional opportunity to psycho-phantically boost the Anointed One.

Either that, or they'll say "oh, this must be Biden's fault" - overlooking the fact he left the White House in January πŸ™„

If there's anything that MAGA followers should be thanked for is revealing the Achille's Heel of Democracy; its inability to defend itself against a dedicated campaign of smears, innuendos, half truths, and straight-out lies, repeated so often that the simple-minded quickly adopt the principles as their own long-held beliefs.

No wonder Trump wants to dismantle the education system. Future snow-jobs will be even easier.

Given Trump's significant support base of Bubba and Trixie, will they care what happens to someone else's stocks?  They may even enjoy the fact that the rich are getting hit.
