Generally the people that flee there country of origin are escaping it because they've turned it into a awful place to live. I don't mind people coming here, I just wish they would leave their failed ideas and opinions back where they came from.

 

 

Generally the people that flee their country of origin are escaping it because *someone* has turned it into an awful place to live. The people leaving obviously don't subscribe to the same ideas and opinions as the people who made their homeland impossible for them to live in. They may have different ideas and opinions from you. *I* certainly do.

 

 

 

US foreign policy over the past few decades has too often resulted in them supporting the rise of that "someone" - one way or the other and with an assortment of agendas.  Hindsight is a great thing.  Trump in charge of a military budget 10x that of Russia and 4x that of China would be rather more of a threat than the world has ever seen.
