Paul1977:

I disagree with your assessment of the article.

It is not even close to saying anyone should give Trump "a fair go".

It is saying that there are an enormous amount of moderates who could be swayed away from Trump with a rational and thoughtful discussion, but are instead belittled and vilified.

There has been 2 years of rational and thoughtful discussion.  It hasn't worked.

The Democrats need to get gloves off and target very hard:

1) Trump's administration is corrupt - rotten to the core.  Remind the electorate mercilessly of every aspect to this.

2) Vote.  Fewer than 30% of eligible voters put Trump in power.  Remind the electorate how a racist campaign designed to deter black voters was put in place to great effect by people at the very top of the Trump 2016 campaign.

If that offends "moderate" Trumpists - too bad.

Stan:

Some interesting information regarding Trump investigating the FBI.

https://www.dailywire.com/news/30923/7-things-you-need-know-about-trumps-campaign-ben-shapiro

There's nothing interesting there at all.

Trump is corrupt.

This is "whataboutism 101".  A Putinesque distraction.

The author finds 7 things - but does not even mention this most obvious fact.

That is something no one should be looking forward to, the world probably would not survive.

Its going to happen.

People have not learnt your moral outrage is not meaningful to anyone but you, unwillingness to even consider any opinion but your own is pushing towards it.

Michael Cohen’s Business Partner Agrees to Cooperate as Part of Plea Deal

This is excellent news. smile

The Taxi King is a notoriously shady character who has truly earned his 25 years of "time".

But being the good old US of A ...... it gets worse. No, not really. It gets funnier.

A law firm of Stormy Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti was hit with a $10-million judgment Tuesday in U.S. Bankruptcy Court after he broke his promise to pay $2 million to a former colleague. The firm is also delinquent on $440,291 in back taxes, penalties and interest that Avenatti promised would be paid last week, Assistant U.S. Atty. Najah Shariff told the bankruptcy judge.

But it's OK. Meghan and the royal family will save us all.

Meghan Markle is said to have told a former close associate that her ultimate ambition is to be president of the U.S. The conversation apparently took place after Meghan began her romance with Prince Harry.

Considering that we are now at 6 guilty pleas for Trump associates with Cohen’s Taxi King business partner overnight, it’d be a mug’s bet on your part. Once they’ve nailed Cohen, Trump is done for.

Well, unless Cohen turns out to be so loyal to Trump he’d rather die in prison than roll over on him. But you know Trump would throw you under a bus for $5 and then sue you for damaging the bus, so you’d be a fool to risk yourself to be loyal to him.

My problem is that this is a written medium. The post had no cue at all so I couldn't decide if it was a joke or not...

That is advice you could take on board. You support a corrupt, bigoted liar. That isn't an opinion on the type of person he is. So, not many people will consider any opinion. Ask other leaders, he is a joke.
