I have a question about this. Since Matthew has been re-elected but since resigned (presumably to stop this report coming out), what happens now? Does it fall to the governor (in this case, Ron De Santis) to appoint someone to replace him, like if a senator resigns? Or do they have - (I guess what we would call) - a by-election to replace him in his seat?

Caroline Kennedy, the U.S. ambassador to Australia, said her cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr. - whom Donald Trump said he would nominate as the secretary of health and human services - has “dangerous” views about vaccines.

Speaking at the National Press Club of Australia on Monday, Kennedy was asked whether she was concerned about the views of Robert Kennedy - who is a vaccine skeptic and promotes ideas such as drinking unpasteurized milk - becoming mainstream.

“Yes, I think Bobby Kennedy’s views on vaccines are dangerous,” Kennedy said. “I don’t think that most Americans share them.” ...

“I would say that our family is united in terms of our support for the public health sector and infrastructure and has the greatest admiration for the medical profession in our country,” she said, “and Bobby Kennedy has got a different set of views.”

What really ticks me off about this crap is I saw a video somewhere online (maybe Facebook) where he must have used a drone or something, and flew over all the cars stuck behind this moron and his bunch of morons, to imply that all the cars stuck behind him were somehow part of his ridiculous, pointless "convoy" - whereas I bet the reality is a very tiny portion of the traffic stuck behind him was actually in support at all.

Most likely a bunch of poor, hapless motorists trying to be anywhere else but stuck behind this clown and his bunch of fools 😠

neb: There's definitely overpopulation in there, it's estimated that the population the earth can sustainably support is less than half of what it currently is (under 4 billion vs. 8 billion). I'm not sure what the scaling is, i.e. is twice the supportable population twice as bad, ten times as bad, or a thousand times as bad?

The official sounding organisation in the link above originally convened in 1928 with a bunch of Malthusian eugenicists and similar minded people.

By the looks of their current predictions not much has changed for them in the last 100 years.
