Link me to something on MU that is legal.  Because I can't think of anything legit that is hosted there.

john12: and man after you get used to downloading from everywhere at full speed, its very stressing when you get very low speed that you cant do a thing on the net like right now.

:(((((((.

i have had full speed when my ip was 125.238.34.34, 24.105, 24.216

i cant get those ips now.

I don't think you understand, you IP address has nothing to do with our speed, and also the speed that your modem connects at will not be the speed you will get, that is your sync speed, you actual speed you will receive will be different.

I have been having some international problems tonight when trying to join some games hosted in Australia, me and another telecom user had massive latency where another local user on a different ISP was able to play fine

Mooseboy:
john12: but it used to work. and i dont say this others have done this already.

look at this thread http://1337.gpforums.co.nz/showthread.php?s=b3da2b349de3565ff1fd0fdd2133f182&threadid=361394&perpage=25&pagenumber=1

and i doubt NZ will have a world class connection anytime soon. LOL.....

Iran will most likely will have the world class internet in 3 years than in here.

NZ is way behind and expensive.

It doesn't work, your plan is based on your PPPoE username, not on your ip address.

This is wrong in a surprising number of ways for such a short sentence. And no sorry, the correct answer would be commercially sensitive info so I can't provide it :-)

Cheers - N

nothing is usable on this plan except browsing.

paying $60 for a plan that most things are slow is a rip off.

i think we should go and draft a complain against Xtra.

This is pathetic.

You can swap plans or even ISPs if you are really having trouble.

I'm using BigTime and don't have any issues.  Sure it's alittle slow during peak times but I can't complain with no data cap.

WOOT!

Finally got my interleaving switched off thanks to a Telecom rep speeding things up here on the forum!

My router says "Fast" instead of "Interleaved", My ping to Telecom went from 100 to 10 and my sync speed increased to 8212/871 from 7654/826.

Needless to say I am very happy!  I have yet to try gaming, but it looks good so far!  I am a happy customer again! :)

Cheers guys! :)

I always thought the download sync speed generally goes down once interleaving is turned off? Good on you, happy for you.

So did I...But that isn't the case here.  I await to see how much my router coughs blood and drops out.
