Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.
Sideface
Journeyman: I think rebranding to Spark is a bit crap, but I think ShowmeTV is worse. TVNZ's marketing for TV2 for all of last year was celebrities saying "Show me drama... Show me comedy... Show me TV2".
Also, ShowTV might be a bit upset.
Really should have called it SparkTV.
KiwiNZ: I guess the top staff will be called Bright Sparks and the bad ones fizzers

ajobbins: I wonder who owned spark.co.nz until Telecom decided to pursue this.
I see AJ Park seem to have acquired it on behalf of Telecom. Hope whoever sold it (surely it was already registered) got a good return.
Also - I think it's a stupid name for a Telco. Sure it aligns to their current marketing identity, but those change. I feel they would be better served by a name that portrays what they actually do.
SPARC(Sport New Zealand) held it in the past :)
KiwiNZ: Pagani Huayra is one of the worse names ever for a car, it makes no difference to the looks handling and performance of teh vehicle and therefore who the heck cares.
Gotta love the great New Zealand knocking machine

you've been watching too much top gear.
pagani is the designer's name so that's legit.
huayra - is easier to pronounce than it looks (why-ra) and means god of the winds - no more dopey than names chosen by lamborghini (bulls), maserati/vw (winds) et al.
spark is just plain dopey , more so that they are spending $20m not long after a $5m spend to refresh the brand.

Galaxy S10
Garmin Fenix 5
