Hi ________ Exciting! We have your new iPhone order in place! Just so you know, the Pre-order for a new iPhone 6 or 6 Plus on no contract required Interest Free Payments. As Interest Free Payments were missing from your order, we have set them up for you over 24 months. This means the cost of the iPhone will be spread over 24 months, starting from your next statement. Sorted. Kind regards

******

same email I received but hey who cares I will call spark as soon as I get my iphone 6 that I want to switch back to prepay then they will send me a bill with full payment for the phone. And I dont think they will be sending stock until 26th.. so I am going to launch day and get one from there. I have alredy queued up for emoji and I am no. 7 ;)

No way in hell.

something is seriously wrong with Spark.
Before the Pre Orders - Spark tweeted that they will send the iphones to us by 26th so we could have it by launch day and I ordered mine as soon as the website gone live. Now they says they won't be sending it before 26th.

Thank you for your reply

We won't start sending stock until launch day which is the 26th September and our standard delivery is 3-5 working days. We'll stay in touch and let you know if delivery will take longer due to stock availability.

Kind regards,

I was one of the first to order through the Spark preorder just after 12am. All good so I thought. Then early Friday morning (8.30am) they emailed me saying they couldn't complete my order as I had an overdue amount on my account. So I pay it online, ring them and they say all good but that I had gone from the top of the delivery list to hundreds down it.

The big thing was they said that they would be contacting everyone that ordered more than one phone to let them know one per customer only at launch.

Interestingly, they had by 9am ish removed the open term option from the pre-order page, so I was expecting them to force me in to a Ultra Post Paid contract, but so far so good, but as I have fallen down the delivery list I have no idea if I will get the phone or go on a long back order.

I haver never received the second email and they cannot re-send it (no idea why) but they assure me the order is in. Will wait and see. Not exactly the best way to launch a new product.

Spark is waaaaay too unorganised.

I am sure all their staff doesn't know what exactly is going on.

Very poor management from spark, which is now affecting all the consumers.

Unprepared, plan not thought out properly, unprofessional, poorly executed, embarrassing...

So will all pre-orders that have been taken be dispatched around release day, as in within a few days or are they just taking as many orders as they can get?

What is the likelihood that my pre-order placed at 6am on 19th for a Iphone6+ silver 64gb will be despatched 26 - 30th Sept?

considering the lack of information and communication between Spark's management and customer service reps, I would say they don't have enough in stock for all the preorders, therefore it is likely 90% or more of the iPhones will be dispatched after the 26th.

According to Sparks Twitter account, the phones have not even arrived in the country, as of this morning, they have no idea how many they are getting of each model etc. Aussie stores only had 2 of the 6 plus model per store allocated to them on launch day.

that also didn't include the pre-sale ones from the Telco.

All the people I know who ordered theirs got them on time or on the release date.

Just in NZ we are a little bit out of the way!

I have just got my online Pre Order cancelled. As I signed up for Emoji Q and I was number 7. And Stores calling everyone who will be able to one and who won't and I am one of the luckiest person and they said I will be able to get.

damn that sucks, I ordered literally minutes within preorders open, would be terrible if I don't get mine.

I even got a friend from Singapore send me one of the official cases for the iPhone 6 Plus.

Aquarius: Grateful for the opportunity to pre-order, the moment the pre-orders opened we ordered a couple of 6+ phones (one each for the Wife and I) - received order confirmation for both.  To help seal the deal, credited our Spark account $2900 to cover the cost of both the phones.  Gutted when Spark emailed the next day trying to push us into a 12 or 24 month interest free deal instead.  Went from a situation where we were getting both phones, to not likely to get either phone, now apparently going to get one phone and either wait for the second shipment for the second phone or get a credit and order elsewhere. Been a customer of Sparks for a Gazillion years, wish they'd just said "Cracker Mate, thanks for your continued business.  Enjoy your new phones"

Great news is Spark is going to come through on the second phone.  Yesssss!  Love you again Spark.
