pasho: for those who might be interested, WoW works fine on BT for the last week or two, 170-230ms is pretty much what u got over 7000m. that only applies to LA based servers. everything else is not playable.
9 pm. torrent going at around 120-200kb/s, http at around 400kb/s
Why would LA be playable but nowhere else I wonder.

I don't know if it has anything to do with the price of fish, but I am just connecting logical dots.
Since Telecom dosn't want to shape traffic that is gaming, they probably made a rule for it ages ago and the peering agrement that went through helped?
I'm just saying that because everyone mentioned TVNZ content was hosted on a mirror in LA aswell. Could be using FX Networks and Telecom are letting it through at a decent rate now.

LOL ads stream as bad as both police ten 7 and corro street, all of its unwatchable.. Where are you located? im guessing you are peered to FX, whereas im not.

I get the same, watched the first part of 10-7 no problems, Coro didn't get past the TVNZonDemand logo.

For me in Auckland on Big Time I am being routed via FX networks to Citylink's servers (where the tvnz ondemand content is served from).
Used to be routed via Telecom Global Gateway International to Citylink's US mirrors/servers as there was no local route between Telecom and Citylink due to lack of interconnection/peering.
Videos are watchable now for me on the 700 kbit setting (max).

yeah i just checked that, everything works perfectly fine. no lag etc. Current Downstream: 888.28kb/s ¤ Current Upstream: 16.82kb/s thats what my stats show while i watch it
