Technofreak: Some drivers shouldn't be allowed to go out by themselves.

When ever I see a vehicle at an angle of more than15 or so degrees to the lane it sets off alarm bells. Accidents waiting to happen.

Then theres those that instead of looking and anticipating as they approach an intersection or round about will stop then look to see if it's clears to proceed and in doing so reallly disrupt the traffic flow.

Equally those who arrive at junctions, roundabouts etc travelling way too fast and paying far too little attention then have to stand on the brakes because they suddenly see that there is traffic on the road....

My wife messing with my tea.

I’m the only one who drinks ‘normal’ tea. My tea caddy contained neatly arranged Yorkshire Tea brought over by my wife for me.

I go to make tea and find a totally disorganised mess in the box. I made enquiries and am told that she just added some Dilmah.

Which ones are which? I ask. No idea.

Why did you do that? No response.

Result: all tea bags in bin. Opened new box. Asks for tea to just be left alone by people that don’t drink it anyway.

🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

Couldn't you just apply the universal trick of adding enough milk and sugar to it that it takes on the uniform gumboot consistency where it doesn't matter what the basic tea was? Dilmah, Yorkshire, Bell, Russian Caravan, Assam, Pu-Erh, Greggs Instant Coffee, you can make it all taste more or less the same.

Hope all is calm now.

I like loose tea rather than bags and buy it at an Indian shop in Kg pack called Waghi Bakri. Really nice tea brewed in a teapot with a cosy over it. I have one of those Bredemeijer cosy manto teapots with a chrome cosy to make the ritual a bit special.

Wagh Bakri looks like a brand rather than a specific type but I can see that they do Assam tea among other things, that would lead to an amazing taste since you can brew it for awhile without it going bitter, it's what I use in the samovar.

Are you sure it’s not Wagki Baki - and  that could explain why you’re luvin’ it?

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

Would you catch a true Scot throwing away perfectly good tea? Unless maybe an urge for Tetley's overwhelmed frugality.

Restaurants that charge adults more money to order from the child menu. Why should it cost more? You won’t get bigger portions.

When a software vendor adds a new feature in version 7 of its product, and makes a big song and dance about this very useful feature... then quietly removes the feature again in version 8.

So don't leave us in suspense: Microsoft?

Sorry, I missed this post. Not Microsoft. Umbraco, specifically the Change Document Type feature, which I now see is still documented for versions "7.0.0+"!

Ugh, yep. I'm dealing with this one at the moment, which has great tracking until it suddenly stops.

It's been passed on to the line haul carrier, you may not get any updates until it arrives in NZ. Or, depending on the carrier, until it arrives at your door. So its annoying, but doesn't indicate a problem.

Nine days later, no further updates. Have they sent it via Greenland or something?
