China sellers are not stupid enough to ship things thru carriers that will return them.

Yeah, Im looking at a Pro 3 from Mi Xiaomi. $199USD, f2.0 lens, 13mp Sony Sensor, for the money its a fine camera phone, but not the fastest if you are into games. I asked parallel when they would get them, no answer. So I thought cheaper to buy direct even if return will be near impossible.

So who is it thats stopping the phones lithium batteries being shipped, is it Amazon? If china will do it why wont Amazon? If you can buy a phone from Aussie shipped, whats the difference?

As youshop is a no go for Lipo batteries...Does anyone have any Shipto experience when sending products containing Lipo batteries? looking  at purchasing an RC Transmitter which has a Lipo bundled with it.

Thanks!

Tick the box, choose DHL, problem solved.

They may require a MSDS on the battery to show how many watt hours it is and that is something that the vendor should supply you, they let you upload it once they flag it as needing it, no ability to pre-upload it unfortunatly.

Difference seems to be a bundled battery in the packaging vs one in the device - bundled seems to be the ones that needs the MSDS. By $20 quadcopter needed it since the battery (well, cell actually) is loose in the packaging. Only ordered that since I could say "alexa order me a drone" to get it, otherwise it would have been an aliexpress purchase.

Thanks for the info.! it has made things slightly easier knowing that it is possible...and it will be interesting to see how much it costs comparatively to youshop.

Be safe with that drone now ;)

Cheers, Kerry.

PS. that's what the transmitter I was thinking of purchasing was for :)

Does anybody know if you can consolidate twice?

I currently have 2 items sitting in YouShop Europe, I am expecting 2 more, however the first one has been there for a while and will expire soon.

Is it safe/possible to consolidate the first two items, then wait for the others to arrive and consolidate again?

Can any internet sleuths find on the NZ Post website, the term that state they do not open the contents of the parcel?

I import sealed cases of Hot Wheels (die cast cars) and have been using YouShop to do it since YS started. Got a parcel in on Saturday that had both sealed cases of cars opened..
It's not really an issue as I will open the cases myself to get the cars inside but they used to mention they would not open anything other than the outside box and for the past few years this has been true.

My own search of their T&C's was not successful in finding anything relating to opening the parcel on arrival

Any chance it was customs that opened it? (but they usually put an additional report in such cases iirc)

Yes, you can, it is a bit convoluted as you have to "un-consolidate" the first two then add the additional two......

Nope, as it was retaped with "opened at USA warehouse tape"

My item has been sitting on status 'ready for dispatch' since Dec 13, might try the taobao freight service next time.

I'm feeling stressed out.

A parcel (according to the tracking) showed up at the US warehouse on the 12th. Still nothing so I contacted youshop and they've requested a PDF file of my ebay invoice, which I've tried to get but I can only get some weird microsoft file. It's a pretty large box too so I'm concerned how they managed to lose it.. And I'm waiting on it so I can consolidate with all my other parcels.

And speaking of lost items, I've sent four to my UK address, and still nothing. I checked and the address is right, so I was wondering if the UK warehouse is a bit slower on the uptake than the US one? It doesn't seem plausible that they've managed to misplace everything that I've had sent there.

Christmas is super busy, could even be ten times the usual parcel volume. You can either be patient, or call them.

I've found that while it might take up to three days for the US youshop to notify of a parcel, it can take up to a week at the UK one.

I've got a parcel lost in the US warehouse somewhere as well.

Amazon tracking shows it delivered on the 9th, raised it with Youshop last week and was told they would check with the warehouse and advise.
Didn't hear back so emailed them again this morning and was told:

"Our warehouse have located your parcel and will assign it to your account, however they require the merchant invoice in a PDF format with the value so they can declare the parcel as yours."

Seems a bit odd considering the box and packing slips are addressed to me and I've given them the tracking number for it... not sure who else they think it could belong to.

A second part of the same order was delivered to the warehouse on the 12th and entered into my account on the 13th so they don't appear to be completely backlogged.
