From the Stuff Homepage (National News):
Does this make sense to you?
No sense at all. That's a reporter that can't be arsed re-reading their work.
Bung: The idea of a green funeral is that you get buried with maybe a tree on top not just piled up in a compost heap.
Similar things have been reported in the past when a funeral home's cremator has been faulty and there was no money to fix it.
Yes; they call them woodland burials in the UK apparently - my mother was telling me about one.
The point was more that there was any element of surprise in finding dead bodies in a funeral home...

A third of Ireland’s preferred starting team for the looming quarter-final were developed in the Southern Hemisphere; three of them – Bundee Aki, James Lowe and Jamison Gibson-Park – in New Zealand, Mack Hansen in Australia and Josh van der Flier in South Africa.
I get that NZ rugby journalists are lazy sycophants but seriously? He was born in Ireland and he's of Dutch heritage.
I guess it's out of line to expect a rugby journalist to know where the current world player of the year is from.
This popped up when I clicked this link to read about leaky Wellington pipes.
(It does have some narrative underneath that includes "read more in The Post' , not sure if that's relevant.)

I think this is just evidence of the power of the Press.

Yes but the article is about the cordon in Ghuznee St which is East/West
NZ Herald:
Manning said the arrest came as Zaoui was preparing to return to New Zealand later this year and to then live between the two countries. He was planning to return to NZ later this year and to live between Algeria and NZ.
I am not sure. Was he planning to go live in Australia then?
