Sadly, no. Write that one off to experience, I guess. Still frustrating.
gbwelly:Ha ha, the East Tamaki black hole, I've experienced that a few times.
That's because East Tamaki doesn't exist, just as Bielefeld doesn't exist. Here's the test:
1. Do you know anybody from Biele... uh East Tamaki?
2. Have you ever been to East Tamaki?
3. Do you know anyone who has ever been to East Tamaki?
It doesn't actually exist, it's just something invented by NZ Post to explain away all the mail they lose.
KiwiSurfer:
Have had a few CourierPost parcels over the last few weeks. All have been fairly quick—usually next day with the worst one taking two days.
Still waiting on the same one parcel from USPS to be handed over to NZ Post. It's at 65 days now. I had a similar parcel that went out a few weeks previously that was delivered within the week and in fact it was delivered <24 hours after arrival in NZ (despite target being around 21-28 days).
NZ Post do use the original tracking numbers in some cases. E.g. USPS tracking numbers can be tracked via either USPS/NZ Post with very similar data appearing on either (e.g. it'll show the same date/time but the message will be slightly different).
Needless to say not gonna be buying anything from the US for the time being. Am very happy with our domestic services given they're managing next day turnarounds most of the time despite all that's going on. Props to CourierPost et al.
USPS is quite bad (if its from Los Angeles or close by it will be fine) - most things take 4-7 weeks. Once it arrives in New Zealand it should be quick.

I wonder how many Companies / People have changed Courier Companies as a result!

Also they are unable to supply trackpaks to account holders at the moment it seems, so we are gradually working up and up the sizes and will run out at work soon.
Are you talking about USPS? Didn't know you could use them in NZ.

Courierpost, the thread title. Totally useless at the moment it seems. Drivers bailing all over the place.
Aaah sorry, had this thread confused with the aliexpress deley thread.
I use CP nearly exclusively for NZ deliveries, I've had pretty good luck recently, most (overnight ticket) parcels delivered next day, and daily pickups. Every year we get a few no shows for pickups, and did have one 2 weeks ago, but otherwise this driver had been pretty good. We get a new one every year here.
As for packaging, I can't really comment, I don't use the official bags, and no longer use my account directly with CP as I got cheaper going via a CP aggregator. They said I could use any old bags, so long as the dimensions are correct. (I print my own CP labels)
But thinking about the trackpak shortage again, this might explain why I've had quite a large uptick in DLE sized poly bag sales recently.

Another happy-ish CP/NZP/USPS customer here. I get most of my parcels through CP/NZP as the last mile carrier (not by choice, they seem to be the preferred carrier for the set of companies I deal with) and don't have a lot of trouble with them. I also receive parcels through other carriers and I don't see the supposedly better service other companies provide--delays and other issues do happen to other postal carriers too! I've had delays with carriers people in this thread swear by, whereas I've had quick delivers by CP even though anyone reading this thread would think otherwise! Does really seem to be the luck of the draw.

eparcel.co.nz, pricing will vary depending on how much you ship and where you live.
But they've been great so far. They even save me time being my customers first point of call when a parcel is mia or late, something I've had to do myself before. (Support is quick too, usually a reply to an email within the hour)
There UI is a bit dated, but it does the job, and is stable.
I've been using them for a few months now. (though pricing is about to go up, as has been/will be for all other CP customers)
This has probably been my worst experience as of late with Courierpost.
Two separate packages arrived in Christchurch on 1st of August via DHL and were handed over to Courierpost for delivery to a collection location - For the past 8 days they have both bounced around Christchurch.
After 2 hours on the phone on Friday, turns out every time the parcel got to their Southern Operations Centre, it was redirected to the wrong depot (based on the original delivery address, not the collection location) and then when it reached the wrong depot, they would send it back and the process repeated itself over and over.
Took escalating to a manager at DHL to get them to call NZ Post to finally sort it, even then they couldn't stop the package or let me pick it up and had to wait until today for it to finally be delivered.

Any comments made are my personal views and does not represent those of my employer
Even in level 4 lock down & bad weather conditions, received excellent service today.
👍 Picked up yesterday at 15:00 in Christchurch, delivered in Auckland by 10:30 👍

Yep ordered two things last week. One was Courier Post (from Mighty Ape) picked up Sunday 5pm delivered Tuesday 10am. delivered Wednesday. Other from NZ Couriers, picked up Monday 2pm delivered Tuesday 2pm. Both <48 hours so seems things are moving nicely.
Yip, another one with awesome service.
Ordered a power adaptor for our jump starter from Repco on Sunday night. Processed/dispatched/picked up from my closest store at 8.30am on Monday morning. Delivered by 9.10am. My house is probably about 4km away from the store..
Must be some sort of record there surely. Super impressed with Repco/NZ Post!
