That's not profit in the sense of an organisation bottom line.

That's simply tax evasion and value accumulation. Not profit. Very different things.

But a lot of these people have acquired and are part of very large businesses & organizations. I understand that the term "profit" doesn't fit the context I was meaning, but in a sense it does become pure profit to them after they've cheated the system?

Or as you put it; value accumulation.

Some of the "wealth" that you refer to is astronomical though? There comes a point when it becomes rather concerning not to mention unfair.

Unfair to the point that people are still dying every 3 minutes in some of these third world countries, not to mention their governments are beyond corrupt and are slaughtering them. The solutions to this problem aren't getting resolved. It's inhumane.

How about giving some of that wealth to rebuilding their lives & giving them some food?

Not necessarily giving these people a wad of cash but saving lives would be a start.

Problem is that redistributing the wealth costs. Of every dollar donated, a huge percentage (around $0.80) is "administration". This is not easy to scale.

As for distributing food, people try. But then they have to bribe the local tribal leaders, the province governors, the countries dictators to have the rights to drop food there.

Costs for this is astronomical. Enter GM. People create GM food that can live where normal crops couldn't. They can survive natural predators, and require less water.

But then people come with ideas that GM food is some conspiracy to increase profits, and everything goes to custard...

As for human rights, it's a sociological problem. Current wave of Politically Correct thinking makes it hard for people to tell it as it is...

There is a large percentage (not all) but an exceedingly large amount of GM foods out there, that despite their chemically enhanced additives to make them immune to those environments, studies are showing that long term these GM foods aren't doing the human body & nervous system any good...

What is the time difference between a GM crop being viably available and a crop mutating naturally through a number of generations to become viable in a similar context?

Natural healing as against medical intervention, it's a similar argument.

As said, you wouldn't take antibiotics, liptor for cholesterol, insuline, etc if you were sick then? Let nature run its course...

Giving them a longer shelf life means they can actually get to eh people whoneed them without rotting.

What wouldyou rather have, non GM food that couldn’t be eaten because it perished before it got the needy people and so millions starved, or GM food that actually provides sustenance and nourishment and saves millions of lives?.
