Hi,

I am checking the routing to World of Tanks Singapore from various ISP's as I have an issue with routing with my current ISP and would like to compare it with other providers. If some of you can run the following prompt in the cmd window :
tracert login.worldoftanks.asia and post their results here with your ISP name it would be appreciated.

Regards
Mark

maybe you could also post your tracert here - people might be able to help.

(seems odd that you would post a request about your routing but not actually post your own tracert)

Tracert below - Have been querying 2 Deg as to why the sudden 100ms+ increase in ping in the last couple of months and was told that the current routing is the best they can do. Tend to disagree with their statement as my connection has always been around the 120 mark and any issues have been resolved by optimized peering between them and Wargaming.

This has been brought up many of times.

I recall a year or two ago there was a routing issue but it was singapore based. Nothing NZ could do to fix it.

You can see the issue lies offshore, Usually means the ISP can not do anything about such as its already gone between 3-4 peers and the issue is Perth based.

This will only show a snap shot at that time and routing could change just like that

Hi All,

We are aware (again) of a bit of an anomaly with our routing to WoT in Singapore, which our engineering team have raised with our upstream providers to see what they can do.

I'll keep an eye on it and let you guys know any updates as we see them.

Cheers

Hi,

If you look at all the Snap/2Deg trace routes you will notice the sudden increase at the Perth hop, however the Telstra and Vodafone trace routes show no issues at that hop, even though they are also using the same backbone provider.
Not a networking Guru and I am learning on the go here, but logic tells me there is an issue here.

It may be because the path back may be different between ISPs. Anyway it seems Snap are onto it.
