From my understanding it was/is a limited time promotion.

Just realised this AYCE is the same price as my current plan for 30GB. Current ISP has great customer service but you can get be assured youll get that with Slingshot by complaining about any problems on here

G'day. Quick question, does this deal apply for existing slingshot users? I'm currently on the slingshot 150 plan and am thinking of switching up, but the "All you can eat" plan still shows up under the "Change my broadband plan" option as $85 a month. I assume you need to do it through the home page, but I just want to make sure. Cheers.

Send an email to user "Slingshot" helped move me from the $80 AYCE to the new $60 price, I would think you will have to pay the $150 disconnection fee if you're on a contract though.

Ok, just got on this plan yesterday and so far I am very impressed.

Here are some speed tests

One of the test had a download of 14Mb/s even and I only sync at 12 go figure. I truly get line speed nationally all the time on Slingshot amazing.

As you can see it is faster than a Telecom capped plan by quite a bit.
I did a lot of tests and the results are always good, peak time or not. The only time it does slow a bit is after 2am
when all the downloads start, but it is still faster than Telecom was.
Don't get me wrong, the Telecom connection was very solid and quite fast... FYI we were having DNS issues with web pages not loading properly have to keep doing refreshes, all that is gone now as well.
My son did complain that there was 20ms more lag on WOW though, but he does not seem concerned about it.
Other games seem to play fine.
So in general faster than Telecom but way cheaper, good on you Slingshot well done, hope it stays that way.
Customer service has been awesome too.

Hi, this is not usual behavior. It appears to be a transtasman routing issue with our upstream provider. We have raised this with them - should hopefully be a quick resolution.

Hi guys,
Our International IP Transit Provider has indicated that there was a break in connectivity on our primary path, so it failed over to the backup path (via LA). Thus the increased latency.

It should have failed back to the primary but hasn't. They are looking into it - our NOC are keeping the pressure on.
