At peak times I will regularly be disconnected because of congestion.
S
That doesn't make any sence sorry. Congestion would never disconnect you.
Sounds like a line/modem fault if you are physcially having to resync your modem. Can you post your line stats please.
I don't have to physically resync the modem. I hear the 'click of death' from the modem and then sit back, watch the red cross on my wireless and wait for it to come back. Even if it doesnt go that far, I regularly see reconnection bubble pop up on the status bar. This happens most regularly during peak times. My assumption was that you were rotating a limited number of connections...
Just an interesting point. I used to have the same disconnect problem in Kohi with Telecom (I'm now in St Heliers). I had the tech guys round, they couldnt fix it. Since then I have changed house/computer/ISP/modem 3 times/phone... er... everything... Eastern Bay connections are utterly screwed. I'm sure this is know to you.
So....How many times have I sent my line stats to tech support. Oh well, once more unto the breach.
