Hi sumeetp,

Yes you can change from any capped plan to the unlimited plan, and there are two easy ways to do this.

Your first option is to call our customer service team on 0800 89 2000, and they can change it for you over the phone.

Alternatively, you can also change it from the Slingshot My Account section of our website by clicking "My Internet" then "Change Broadband Plan"

Plan changes will occur on your next billing date.

Unfortunately if you are currently under contract, this deal is unavailable to you. The pricing for this plan is normally $80 per month

Hi th3r3turn,

Yes you can get this plan with a TelstraClear homeline, however there is an additional charge of $10 per month. Or, if you move your tolls over to Slingshot, then it will only be an additional charge of $5 per month.

Sorry sumeetp,

I have actually given you incorrect information there and have edited the original post.

I have double checked this with one of my colleagues and was informed that this deal is only for new customers. Normally the pricing for the unlimited plan is $80 per month.

does Slingshot publicly disclose how many warning letters they send to their customers in obedience to the new piracy/ISP laws?

...I find it hard to believe someone would offer unlimited broadband, even at poor speeds (or whatever catch the service has), without being confident they can discourage the sort of data usage (up and down) common with pirates (i.e., almost every potential customer who has any desire for more bandwidth).

* We don't disclose at all how many we get or even if we get them.
* I personally don't believe it's the ISP responsibility to do what the police should be doing.
* Between capped and unlimited plans the data patterns are the same its just the amount that changes.

Incorrect, its $60 regardless of who your HL + Tolls are with.

That is if SS are able to provision BB services on your Telstra HL.

This is in regards to the promo which is currently running, ending 23rd Dec 2011.
