sumeetp: I called them two days ago and customer service said that i have to pay 80 bucks for unlimited broadband..if i want to pay 60 bucks then i hve to pay 150 dollars disconection fee..which i tink is really unfair coz i want to keep my contract n pay 60 bucks for unlimited broadband..if i giv u my details will u be able to do the change up for me?..
I am in the same position: I'm currently on the LLU AYCE bundle, would like to switch to the new plan, and have no desire to break the contract. If I can't get the new pricing, I guess that I'll have to move to the non-LLU NDSL plan (it seems absurd that they'd encourage a customer to do that, but my guess is that's what will happen.)
In my opinion, not allowing currently contracted customers to switch feels like Slingshot don't care about their current customers. Especially so when it comes to those of us who joined AYCE early with 24mth contracts, (and whom, unlike the more recent switchers, didn't receive 6 months at half price.)
