insane: This is why Marketing and Network Operations seldom see eye-to-eye. The Engineers know what their network is capable of and yet Marketing departments just want to advertise more and more data for less and less.
At some point everyone has to be realistic and understand that you simply cannot have mountains of data for bottom dollar without impacting quality of service during peak times. If anyone wants consistent speeds 24/7 then perhaps consider paying for it. It's like purchasing a Lotus and expecting it to drive like a Lambo.
To anyone stuck in a long contract who's service was good to start off with, then I do feel for you as I'd be pissed too.
I pay per gb after my alloted 70gb. I am paying premium for budget service. Luckily I'm not on a contract so I am leaving without any penalties.
I wonder if it would be a good idea to avoid any provider that offers unlimited plans.
