It's not just Orcon that is having issues at the moment, our latency for anything is a mess at the moment and we do not have an Orcon connection.

Youtube is unusable currently for us on Orcon. Takes ages to load and when it does it buffers the videos every few seconds. Works fine on 2degrees 3g modem.

Yip, we've got fibre too. Slowest I've seen it in a while.

Yes

We recently added more bandwidth. So speeds should be pretty good.

weird, it seems worse if anything to me.

the hop at 206.223.143.241 seems to be to blame.. which says it's orcon any2ix...

could be some deprioritisation, but tracing back from the US it seems to start there...

So the 'Linux ISO' brigade will step up their efforts, now, to see how long it takes to slow the network down again!

Been having some bad experiences the last couple nights after 10-11pm, speedtest just to auckland running at 1 mpbs not sure if my own line fault or something to do with orcon? It isn't slow the entire night, just spikes after 10pm.
