Also wanted to check when viewing the tuner information it only shows tuner 1 as being active, tuner 2 appears but say it has not been activated? Does this mean it won’t be able to record two channels at once, or is it just using one tuner to record two channels?
Will post an update on how she’s getting on with the new box next week, migrating from her MagicTV 3600 (which is on its last legs, bought back in Dec ’09, so gave good service) might take some getting use to, especially the remote with it’s small buttons. She’d probably love it if I could re-program the MagicTV remote to work with the T2200.
BadEgg: Have just bought a aerialBox T2200 for my mother, setup was pretty painless, however found one issue, when trying to connect to the wireless router was unable to enter the password as I could not find the + (plus) symbol, went through all the key options upper, lower & symbols but could not be found, I might have missed it but can some check for me? Both tuners are working fine, so don't worry about that, it's just a generic software display, when the time comes to use both tuners to record channels then Tuner 2 will be activated. However Tuners work lime this:
Recording TV One and TV2 will use only one tuner as it's on the same Mux on Freeview.
Recording TV3 and Four will be the same as the above
Recording Prime and TV One will use both tuners.
I hope that helps! In terms of the remote I will answer your question on the other thread
pegleg: Evening Josh/Dish TV
Picked up the T2200 today and of the little we have seen of it we love it!
So nice work Dish TV!
Just wondering if someone could tell us how to stream to HTML with the box...
Cheers

Thanks Josh, that make sense, no point activating the tuner if it's not recording.
Mum said it's been recording all her shows, she has some questions/issues about the getting around the UI, but will get more info from her on the weekend, she's probably so use to the MagicTV box that it's a little hard to get use to the T2200 in a week.
Will take a closer look at the keypad option to display the symbols on the weekend, so I can get her connected to FreeviewPlus also.

pegleg: Thanks for the help,
I'm just trying to stream it to our laptop.
I put the t2200's IP address into my internet browser with port 8080 i.e. xxx.xxx.x.x:8080
But it just tries to download a file that I don't seem to be able to do anything with...

pegleg: Thanks again Josh,
Got it working, having trouble with VLC being pixulated but I'll have a play and do some research.
Cheers,
