hairy1: I use a OnePlus One and love it. I was all ready for this device until I saw the 4G frequencies. It would be a backward step with no 4G. A real downer really. I wonder if it is something to do with the dual Sim....
I had a OP1 as well and was looking forward to the OP2, but it does look like (to me anyway) that they cut a few things out just to get to under $400US.
It's really not an international phone with the limited LTE bands that the chip supports. It is aimed at the US market by the looks of the bands.
Lets hope they release a real international phone that supports a lot more bands.
Till then I will just keep my z3 compact (just updated to 5.1.1 this morning) and wait for the LG's nexus 5 reboot in November.
