I fail to understand the logic of what is said (and reported on the internet) by Samsung US. Samsung US is just a subsidiary of Samsung International, and I have to question why people think that what is decided to apply for the US market has to do with the global recall in general?
Internationally, the recall appears to be working in a more planned and structured manner and what matters to me is the international approach. Not some American paranoia driven by legal considerations.
Maybe it is me. But I am finding the change of attitude taking place with regards to the Note 7 quite weird now that the latest Note 7 reporting is focused on the US requirements. The power of advertising (or in this case negative advertising)? Do people see US requirements as the driving standard?
Surely - different markets, different considerations?
