So I have a few Digital apps and an account for each.
TVNZ On demand
Three Now
Netflix
Lightbox
Amazon Prime

Are there any apps which will let you access all of the content from one interface?

Out of the box no.

The only way to get close is via something like kodi.

The issue with that is most of the apps are user created, and not official. They do tend to break though, and rely on scraping to work.

Assuming that AppleTV+ comes to our shores, it may be possible in spring to do this with an AppleTV and the TV app.

I used to think that about Apple but when that blew up I tried the AppleTV4 and now I wouldn't use anything else. Netflix, BBC, Amazon, C4, TV1, it's just so easy and it works.

Apart from price being high, it’s one of the most well supported standalone devices you can buy. And imo a much better experience than a chromecast.

I use iPhones for work and that's it. Everything else is Windows and Android. Yet AppleTV is rather elegant. I bought one for my parents, my flat uses it, I bought one for a friend. Aside from the typing aspect (the newer ones use voice) it's brilliant.

Roku is a great option.

...except TVNZ/Mediaworks apps.

You can argue that on almost every media player. FireTv.

Not sure the shield if that has native nz apps.

LG TV then. One of the OLED models, that runs their 'webOS'.

...might cost a bit more than these devices though haha. Dam good option though.

Do LG do a “smart” Blu-ray player that contains web os? That could be a good option. I know Samsung does a smart Blu-ray that contain a lot of the apps their TVs do. Much cheaper and easier To replace than a panel.

With a Smart TV that does Freeview, the Freeview application puts all the free to air in one place.

You can search for a program and it search’s all channels.

Strangely there’s way less adds on it then going through the Apple TV.

We do all of that on our Apple TV. :)

Plus BBC, SBS Ondemand, 7Plus, Plex, Youtube, stream Live TV from a TV server on the network using TV Mosaic, and can play games on it.

Some of those require a DNS service to access.

It'll never happen. The closest you'll get is one device.
