I am considering building my own HTPC to run through my new lcd.
I would like to record from tv and also play rented and downloaded video and music. I have a pixelview tuner card from a previous setup. This card is about 4 years old now and may buy a newer card.
I would appreciate any input on tuner cards that are currently available. I don't need sky as I can go to my neighbours place to watch any of the sport I like.

I currently have

Asus M3N-HD HDMI / AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+, dual core AM2 3.2GHz
Gigabyte NVidia 9600GT 1gb DDR2
4gb DDR ram
Sony KDL46W4000
Arcam Diva amp
Yamaha CDX1000 cd
Tannoy Saturn 6 speakers

I would also like to use a wireless keyboard and mouse as the kit would be about 3mtr from the seating and remote control everything as much as I can.

Cheers all
