Hi there, I am currently in the middle of upgrading my HTPC ... I have had a Coolermaster cavalier case in my garage for a Year now which was left over from a job ... the build is complete and now have found the MACRON 300w power supply is DEAD :) YAY ... the problem I face is Coolermaster have used a proprietry power supply .... which they mount sideways ... all the dimensions are the same as a standard ATX except the width which is a low profile 120mm instead of the standard 140mm, My question is has anyone here modded there Cavalier case or managed to source locally a MACRON replacement. I will be going to my suppliers in the next few days to see if I can get a replacement ... however running 2 TERRA drives a qaud core and planning on setting up for freeview im a bit concerned anything less than 350w could be a struggle ... it seems they don't make any replacement PSU larger than 350w. Any feed back appreciated. Here is a run down of the box. http://www.modthebox.com/review356_1.shtml

Hmmm seems I may have found a solution, I measured my power supply and it is actually 150w x 86h x 140d not the 120mm the spec's had said... now I just need to work out if I can mount a standard ATX on it's side :) Will keep you posted

Keen to hear your results from this one - I have the same case and am about to build my new HTPC. It doesn't need quite the power of yours but would be keen to hear about a successful upgrade.

Well, the solution for me is I have stuck with the 300w power supply which seems to be working at this point. My concern is if the PSU fails I have no immediate solution. I have come to the conclusion if this happens I will be modding the case to take a standard ATX which will mean cutting the top right hand corner out and making it look tidy :) .. I can get a replacement PSU from Aussie however still only a 350w which I would struggle parting with $150 odd cash to put a moderate PSU back in.
