I saw something similar when testing out this card as a second DVB-T source. Does it happen equally for recorded tv as it does with watching live tv?

im not too sure actually, I was have to find out. Yes this is gonna be my second DVB-T Source but its completely unwatchable via media centre, yet works perfectly with DVB Viewer. But i want it to work with media centre as its what everything is working through plus I have xbox 360's as extenders to watch the live tv.

There have been a few recent posts from people complaining about poor performance of the Nova TD 500's. These are a different card to the older Nova T 500 which works well.

hmm,Ive noticed that the signal quality of the TD 500 when i goto guide and edit sources to see signal quality sits around 70% at the most while the HVR 2200 sits at a clean 100%. Ive even taken apart the splitter etc to not split the signal but it seems to make no difference. I am not doing that diversity mode

just a note that it is happening in dvb viewer too so its not just media center. Why the hell does the nova td500 sit at between 40-70% quality when my hvr 2200 is 100% at all times and works perfectly

I have the same problem with my Nova T 500 :( I thought it was due to my apartments wiring, but I'm pretty certain it's the Tuner..

Hope you find a solution.
